MAMMOTH PADS – 40 epic, massively wide binaural pads for the Sequential Rev2 synth.

Created with an emphasis on playability, motion, and massive stereo width. 40 pads, for use in scoring, production, & live – Inspired by my favorite cinematic & sweeping pads from Blade Runner, 2049, Oblivion, and M83.

Every patch is layered in a binaural configuration, with Layer A and B panned hard left and right. Instead of resorting to stereo modulation effects (chorus, spreaders), this creates super-wide stereo sounds, by using a full synth voice with its own oscillators, filter, envelopes and LFOs on each side of the stereo field.

A 16-voice Rev2 on the latest Rev2 OS – Ver.1.1.5.9 (free at Sequential.com), is suggested, so you can take advantage of the highest number of playable voices, but the patches will also play just fine in an 8-voice Rev2.

*As an option, i have included an alternate install with the binaural configuration disabled on all patches, in case you feel limited by the voice limits on a Rev2 8 Voice. They are the same patches, but with lower voice demands and no stacking.
